Its official we have now been in lockdown for as long as the finalists of the TV show ‘Big Brother’.
If you were an avid watcher of the show you would’ve witnessed tears, tantrums and people on the edge during this time.. Lockdown seems to feel pretty similar to this, but we have also done so much during this time. So much kindness has been witnessed and so much cleaning too!!
During lockdown we have welcomed new customers that have been clearing out their homes, loft spaces, sheds and gardens. Moving home, starting new businesses and so much more.
Personally, we have also been sorting out our own home too. Our spare room, that was full to the brim of new born baby things, has now been cleared out and put into storage. Whilst the garden has been pruned back and replanted, meaning that the gardening tools have come out of storage.
So, how have we managed our storage units during this time? Well, hand sanitiser has been in the main shed, office, toilet and kitchen, everyone has kept 2m apart and we have limited the amount of people allowed on site at any time.
There has also been some good news… as of today we have reducedthepriceof our 25sq.ftunit by a whopping £10 per month!!We have took the step to do this as we noticed a number of our customers have small amounts to store meaning our unit has become like an extra room in their house rather than storage for their whole house.
We are hoping now like everyone that we are starting to see the light at the end of this awful pandemic. In the meantime we wish all of our customers present and future to stay alert and stay safe!
